One of the biggest shows in Kenya, Churchill Live, is reeling after two of its main sponsors appeared to have pulled out of the show with no reason given.
Didge, Ngatia Murenga and Angie Fired
Easy FM has let go of three of its presenters. The R-n-B station released the three yesterday and it is not clear why. The changes take effect immediately.
Ngatia and Angie cohosted the Breakfast show alongside Munene Nyaga while Didge occupied the evening slot.
Ngatia and Angie have been with the station for less than a year while Didge has been at Easy FM for close to five years. Ngatia was at the station for a second time after being part of the best trio on radio that consisted of him, Munene Nyaga and Teddy Muthusi during the Nation FM days.

R Kelly Joins Amani's ONE8 Project
 Our girl Amani can now add to her bragging portfolio working with R-n-B legend R Kelly after the mega-star was unveiled as the latest signing of the African super group, ONE8. The star-studded gathering of African musical giants continues to gather momentum with eight of Africa’s best coming together to form what is already being referred to as the continent’s first supergroup. "Now Rockstar4000 and Sony Music Worldwide are proud to announce the last signing to the group – international mega-star R. Kelly and the release of the group’s first single, Hands Across the World," read a statement. R. Kelly is excited to be involved in the ONE8 project. Speaking from his studio in Chicago as they put final touches on the single, he stated: “I love projects like this, as I hear the music of these artistes and meet them in person I can feel myself connect. Somehow I can feel the excitement and adrenaline through them and then the ideas and everything around this track just comes together. This is probably one of the greatest things I have ever done, I can just feel it in me.” ONE8 will release not only the hottest single of the year, written and produced by R Kelly, but also a full album and DVD later this year. Nelly Furtado In Kenya For Charity
 Grammy award winner Nelly Furtado is in Kenya for a documentary shoot and to help build the first "Free The Children" arts school. The artiste, who has sold over 20 million albums in her career and is known for hits like "I'm like a Bird", "Promiscuous", "Turn off the Light" will be in the country for two weeks. |
