Monica and her husband, 25-year-old L.A. Lakers player Shannon Brown,
had another wedding in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The “Angel of Mine” singer, 30, previously tied the knot
with Brown in a very intimate ceremony (we're talking
two-people-in-attendance intimate) at their L.A. home in November of
last year.
This time around, the couple opted for a renovated 19th century cathedral in downtown L.A. to host the wedding that was attended by hundreds of family and friends, including Lala Vazquez, Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher, reports People.
Monica’s two sons from a prior relationship, Rodney Jr., 6, and Romelo, 3, joined Brown’s son in a horse-and-carriage ride to the wedding ceremony.
Guests, who donned shades of blue for the event at the couple’s request, then joined the newlyweds for a “lavish” reception that included cocktails and a three-course dinner. Afterwards, hamburgers from Fatburger lined the grill for attendees to nosh on, and there was also a confection from Charm City Cakes.
