Cyber Monday Exceeds Expectations

Well we knew that Cyber Monday was a success this year, but we didn't know just how successful!
According to new reports, sales were up 5% overall from last year, with consumers spending $887 million. What's more, contrary to initial reports, Black Friday and Thanksgiving were also more successful in online sales this year, with Thanksgiving up 10% and Black Friday up 11%.
Wow! Looks like people are starting to buy again!
Gian Fulgoni, chairman of marketing research firm comScore, says, "It will be important to see if spending continues to grow over the balance of the season, because the heaviest spending day online typically occurs in mid-December."
Let's hope this is the beginning of a new and lasting trend!!
