Fabregas has denied suggestions he has agreed to join Barcelona next
season.
Reports emanating from Spain have claimed that Emirates skipper
Fabregas has reached a verbal agreement to join the Catalan giants in
the summer.
Barcelona moved quickly to rubbish the rumours and now
the midfielder has put the record straight on the speculation,
insisting he is totally committed to the Gunners.
"They have
denied it, I have denied it. I just want to focus on Arsenal," Fabregas
told Sky Sports.
"I think Arsenal Football Club is above
everything, every single player in its history and their fans, and the
club, and myself - I think we deserve a little bit more respect."
Arsenal
boss Arsene Wenger also quashed talk that the Spain international was
on his way to Camp Nou.

However, Fabregas' father has claimed his son
would be open to holding talks with Barca at the end of the season

Snr believes his son would consider any offer the Spanish giants made
him but insisted he would not think about moving on while he is fighting
for the title with Arsenal.
"If something has to happen - we
will see at the end of the season. We would talk," Fabregas Snr told Radio
Kanal.
"But to be talking about these at the middle of the
season - I understand Arsenal being angry.
"If a club is
interested in a player, then it should go to the other club and try to
negotiate. This is the way to function always.
"If this thing has
to happen, it has to be this way: Barca going to talk to Arsenal. That
goes the same with Cesc and for the rest of the players."
