FURIOUS Arsenal were beaten by a controversial goal in Porto last night.
Sol Campbell played the ball back to keeper Lukasz Fabianski and he picked it up.
Referee
Martin Hansson awarded an indirect free kick and handed the ball
to Porto. They took the kick quickly with the Arsenal defence in chaos
and Radamel Falcao rolled the ball home.
Boss
Arsene Wenger was furious with Hansson – the official who failed to
spot Thierry Henry’s handball in the World Cup qualifier between France
and Ireland.
Campbell
had earlier equalised in his first Champions League game for nearly
four years. But Fabianski was badly at fault for Porto’s first when he
pushed a soft cross from Silvestre Varela into his own goal after just
10 minutes.
