    I guess you have gone beddy-byes Brenda. Sleep well my dear. I have to pay bills online now, but Bean has taken the accounts to draw on so I have to track them down. He is a compulsive paper stealer...And buying him exercise books doesn't help as he goes through 60 pages in two days...

    @SadieMy I knew you would understand! They just don't make these things anymore. I passed them on the way to the house and they caught my eye and the rest is history! I will put them to good use and they will live on. The tenant from the house next door moved out and I got a great white cabinet that I put in the laundry room. Hub then got a tiki bar and stools.

    @brendastar5 Doubt he will pull through. He has a pace maker so his heart is already very dicky. My mom is sad but very philosphical about it. She is the eldest but has already buried her other two brothers. I know she is just wishing she would also go now. She has so many health problems.

    When I read about you and the planters and the skateboard I had all the confirmation I needed that you and I are soul mates. It is the sort of thing I do all the time. I am always on the lookout for things I can use and I think people think I am bag lady because I am always loading up their rubbish. Some of it is darn heavy too. I collect concrete walling slabs to retain soil up on the sand dune above our house, where I have made a garden !

    The valerian worked okay. Must just remember not to drink coffee at the same time, as I had a bathroom call at 2am. Then at 7am my aunt phoned from Johannesburg to say my uncle was in ICU after hip surgery because he had a cardiac arrest afterwards and is not going to make it. She wanted me to tell my mom as the two of them were very close and he is her only remaining sibling. If he dies I will have to fly with my very frail mom to the funeral. He is 81 and she is 85.
