SOCCER hunk Cristiano
Ronaldo shows off his buff body in these new ads for Armani. In
the pics, the 25-year-old Real Madrid player wears briefs and
skin-tight jeans for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans.
Ronaldo’s campaign is set to be released worldwide in July when the x-rated billboards are set to steam up London, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo.
“It is for his energy that I have chosen Cristiano to become the new face of Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear,” Giorgio Armani told Entertainment Tonight, “for his youthful, exciting and yes, sexy, attitude.”
Ronaldo was named the official worldwide spokesmodel for Emporio Armani Men’s Underwear and Armani Jeans in October. His predecessor, David Beckham, has modeled the brand since January 2008.
Ronaldo was recently said to be furious that he’s sharing the cover of Vanity Fair magazine with rival Didier Drogba.
“Ronaldo is freaking out,” a source said last month.
“He says he wants to sue Vanity Fair for using his image to promote the issue everywhere.
“Even though this is pretty standard practice in the magazine world, he and his managers insist only they have control of his image and where it can be used.
“But no legal action has been launched, and there are whispers that what really upset Ronaldo was that, having stripped off to his underpants for the shoot in Madrid, he didn’t envisage sharing the cover with another player photographed in Milan.”
