Mike Tyson Arrested After 'Punching' Snapper

Mike Tyson has been arrested at an airport in the US after allegedly punching a photographer. The former heavyweight boxing champion was detained on suspicion of battery following the scuffle at Los Angeles International Airport, police said.
The snapper, who was treated in hospital for a cut to his forehead, told officers that Tyson struck him once, an airport police spokesman said.
"There's a lot of different versions to this story and that's all going to come out later," Sergeant Jim Holcomb added.
"There were numerous witnesses and that's what this whole case is going to depend on."
The 43-year-old is expected to be released from custody later. The photographer is also likely to be charged, police said.
The incident comes after a troubled year for Tyson, whose four-year-old daughter died in May after accidentally strangling herself with a loose cord on a treadmill.
After becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in history in 1986, Tyson's life went off the rails after he suffered a shock defeat to James 'Buster' Douglas four years later.
In 1992, he was convicted of raping a beauty queen and served three years in prison.
He was jailed again in 1999 for assaulting two people after a traffic accident.
During a recent appearance on Sky News, Tyson became "irritated" with presenter Dermot Murnaghan and his manager threatened to storm into the studio to end the interview.Tyson's spokeswoman said the boxer, who was travelling with his wife and 10-month-old child, was reacting to an overly aggressive photographer to protect his baby.
