Joseph Ebuya claimed gold in the men's event as Kenya dominated the field at the World Cross-Country Championships in Poland.
Kenya underlined their status as the dominant force in distance running, claiming a clean sweep in all four events in Bydgoszcz, as well as winning all four team golds.
Ebuya finished six seconds clear of Eritrea's Teklemariam Medhin, while Uganda's Moses Kipsiro nicked the bronze medal from Kenya's Leonard Komon.
Defending champion Gebregziabher Gebremariam was the top-ranked Ethiopian in tenth, while Britain's Mo Farah was just outside the top twenty, in a time of 34:09. Andrew Vernon was 44th and Michael Skinner 79th.
Emily Chebet produced a superb sprint finish to win gold in the women's race. Chebet was the surprise winner, outsprinting her Kenyan team-mate Linet Masai to take the victory.
Masai, the world 10,000 metre champion on the track in Berlin last summer, dominated the race from the outset, but she was unable to keep pace when Chebet kicked to finish the 8km course in 24:19.
Ethiopa's Meselech Melkamu took bronze, while double Olympic champion Tirunesh Dibaba finished fourth.
Britain's Steph Twell finished 23rd in a time of 26:11, while former European champion Hayley Yelling was 63rd, nearly three and a half minutes off the pace. Britain took sixth in the team competition.
Caleb Ndiku and Mercy Cherono completed the whitewash, winning the junior men's and girls' event respectively.
