Rihanna was taken to the emergency ward of a Swiss hospital with an
injured rib during the European leg of her world tour, E! Online
reported Wednesday. The 22-year-old star’s publicist confirmed reports she was taken to the Hirslanden Clinic after a gig in Switzerland on Monday night.
The publicist said Rihanna was “OK” and the tour is “great”.
Rihanna returned to the stage Tuesday night in Lyon, France, and will perform again Wednesday night in Marseille.
Rihanna's world tour started in Belgium on Friday, April 16. She will perform 25 shows in North America, starting with a gig in Seattle on July 2 and winding up in Chicago on August 25.
