The CEO of Window World, Todd
Whitworth, died surprisingly Friday. The cause of Todd Whitworth's death
is yet to be known.
Window World is a funding supporter of Front Row Motorsports and Latitude 43. The foundation, Window World Cares is also a subsidiary of Window World. It also emerges on the top of a lot of contests for those two teams.
This weekend at Daytona International Speedway, the foundation is reportedly supporting both Boris Said, driver of the No. 26, and John Andretti, driver of the No. 34.
It has been learnt that employees at Window World are grieving the death of their CEO. Todd Whitworth died at 40 unexpectedly at his residence.
Following the retirement of his father, Todd Whitworth took over as CEO of Window World in 2008. It is said that Todd Whitworth's father had started the Window World Company as a small roadside stand in Wilmington in 1995. Currently, Window World has 186 offices in 45 states across the U.S.
While proclaiming the death of Todd Whitworth, Blair Ingle, the President of Window World said in a press release, "This loss is monumental on all levels. His passion for auto racing, Window World Cares, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Veteran's Airlift Command were immeasurable. We know in our heart that Todd would want to have John (Andretti) and Boris (Said) continue to race this weekend and raise support for Window World Cares and St. Jude. We will all feel pride knowing that the legacy of Todd will be carried through their efforts."
