Hilary Duff, 22, and her long-time beau, hockey player Mike Comrie, 29, tied the knot this weekend near Santa
Barbara, California — the gorgeous, romantic ceremony was attended by
100 of their friends and family. The couple exchanged vows at the
sprawling Villa La Quinta estate just outside of Santa Barbara and then
they spent their first night as a married couple at the famed San Ysidro
Ranch in Montecito.Attendees called the ceremony the “most beautiful wedding ever seen,” and from the pictures of Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie’s ceremony, we’d have to agree! From the candlelit aisle to what seems like thousands of white roses, no detail was left untouched.
Hilary wore a strapless Vera Wang gown and walked down the glowing aisle with her mom. Sister and fellow actress Haylie Duff was Hilary’s maid of honor.
The couple, who have been dating since 2007, met by chance while traveling on the same plane to Idaho and then ended up at the same resort. Comrie proposed to Duff earlier this year. “I’ve never met anyone who can say a bad word about him,” Duff has said about Comrie. “He’s generous, caring and sunny.”
