US President Barack Obama is releasing an illustrated children's book inspired by fatherhood.
All proceeds from the book will go to charity
Of Thee I Sing: A Letter To My Daughters pays tribute to 13 "groundbreaking Americans and the ideals that have shaped" the United States.
Subjects include former US President George Washington, the first Major League black baseball player Jackie Robinson and artist Georgia O'Keeffe.
The 10 other subjects are being kept secret until the book is released on November 16, two weeks after America's mid-term elections.
The book was written by Mr Obama before he took office in January 2009 and features illustrations from award-winning author Loren Long.
It will have a 500,000 first print run and proceeds will be donated to a scholarship fund for fallen and disabled US soldiers.
Mr Obama has written two bestselling books, "Dreams from My Father," and "The Audacity of Hope."
His latest work is part of a three-book £1.22m deal Mr Obama agreed with Random House in 2004.
The publisher said he was inspired to write for a younger audience through his experiences fathering his two daughters, Malia, 12 and Sasha, nine.
The cover features the girls walking the Obama family dog Bo.
