Katie Holmes not ready for more kid

Katie Holmes has called on the media to stop speculating about her plans to have a second child because she's putting off pregnancy for at least "a couple years."
The "Dawson's Creek" star has been dogged recently by rumors she's expecting a little brother or sister for her and husband Tom Cruise's 4-year-old daughter, Suri, and her spokesperson has continued to shoot down the claims.
Now Holmes is speaking out herself, insisting one child is enough for her to handle -- for now.
She tells Marie Claire magazine, "Maybe in a couple of years, but right now I want to make sure I'm really there for Suri. I'm the youngest in my family -- my closest sister is five years older than me, and the next one is nine years ahead of me, so I was a bit of an only child, and I liked it! I liked having all of my mom's attention, and sometimes I think I still do."
Holmes and Cruise married in 2006.

Britney Spears' rep dismisses 'unfortunate' harassment suit

Britney Spears' publicist has responded to a sexual harassment case filed by the star's former bodyguard, dismissing the suit as a way for the former aide to "make a name for himself."
In a shocking new lawsuit filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Fernando Flores accused the "Toxic" hit maker of exposing herself and making sexual advances towards him while he worked for her.
Flores had previously claimed that Spears was a terrible parent to her two sons, alleging he once witnessed the star "savagely hit" her son Sean Preston with a belt.
An investigation was launched after the bodyguard reported her to the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services earlier this year, but officials rejected the claims in July.
Now a rep for the superstar has taken to Spears' website to dismiss the latest lawsuit as nothing more than a publicity ploy by a disgruntled former employee.
On the site, a statement reads, "This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself.
"The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts."

Spencer Pratt apologizes to Heidi Montag

Reality TV star Spencer Pratt has issued a public apology to estranged wife Heidi Montag for the "pain and anguish" he caused during their break-up - and admits he "let her down."
Montag walked out on her former "The Hills" co-star in May and filed for divorce in July, citing irreconcilable differences.
Pratt, who has recently been threatening to release sex tapes featuring his former partner, has now reached out to Montag to apologize for his behavior.
He tells People.com, "Divorce can be a trying, draining, and emotionally devastating experience for all involved. Despite these hardships, most individuals manage to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. I did not -- I failed spectacularly. I horribly embarrassed the one person that meant the world to me. For my outrageous and infantile behavior, I offer Heidi my most sincere apologies.
"Over the years, her love, support, and friendship were always given, but never properly cherished. I let her down. She never deserved the pain and anguish I put her through, and although I don't expect it, I hope in time she'll be able to forgive me.
"Even though our relationship has changed, I will always count her among my best friends."

Mischa Barton baffled by media attention

Mischa Barton struggles to understand the tabloid interest in her life - because she is still "hounded" years after finding fame in "The O.C."
The actress entered the public eye at 17 after landing a starring role in the hit teen drama and, four years after the series wrapped in 2006, Barton still hits the headlines.
She admits she's baffled by the attention and worries the constant glare of the spotlight is harming her acting career.
Barton tells U.K. TV presenter Fearne Cotton, "I get hounded more than I should. I don't know why I get hounded so much. It's a real mystery to me. It's in my downtime and everything. During 'The O.C.', of course, it was an incredibly famous show, OK, you're gonna get hounded. But now, years after, I'm sort of like, why is the hype so big still?
"It's concerning to me because it affects your business. You'll have an offer on a job and then they'll be like, 'We have to meet her because we want to know that she's fit to work.' And that must all come from this press because I don't read it and I don't know what people are saying. People believe it and they take it as fact and it's sort of like, 'No, I'm fine!'"

Lady Gaga 'hyperventilated' on 'Alejandro' shoot

Lady Gaga was crippled with nerves while shooting her "Alejandro" video -- the singer "hyperventilated" after the director removed her heavy make-up and fake tan.
The pop star shocked fans with the racy and religious imagery in the controversial clip, in which she dresses in a latex nun's outfit and writhes on a bed with semi-naked male dancers in her underwear.
But she admits the most nerve-wracking part of the project was appearing bare-faced on the request of fashion photographer Steven Klein, who shot the video.
Gaga tells Japan's Hommes Vogue, "We are both very strong-willed and we both have very specific visions. And I knew his specific vision and he knew mine so that it was like tugging at a rope together. And then we tied a beautiful knot! I wanted to bring him out of his comfort zone and he wanted to bring me out of mine.
"(He was) stripping me down, taking off all my makeup, no eyelashes, no liner, saying, 'I'm cutting all of your hair off' and not tanned. ... For me, I was hyperventilating, but it did force me to be myself."

Carrie Underwood proud of her movie big break

Carrie Underwood was in awe of her big-screen debut in "Soul Surger" because she was convinced her acting skills would sink alongside her co-stars Helen Hunt and Dennis Quaid.
The country singer stars as a church youth leader in the upcoming biopic of teenage wave-rider Bethany Hamilton, who refused to quit the sport after a shark bit off her arm.
Underwood was prepared to be underwhelmed by her performance, but admits she was pleasantly surprised with herself.
She tells the Associated Press, "I really liked how everything turned out, including myself. I was really expecting the worst from myself, and I really surprised myself."
But the American Idol winner insists she won't be quitting her day job any time soon.
She adds: "There are people that are absolutely amazing actors and actresses, and I am not one of those, though who's to say one day; you never know, maybe I will be. But I'm definitely new at this and just doing what's fun right now, and I love my music; that's my first love."

Lauryn Hill put nails before fans at concert?

Lauryn Hill got herself in a sticky situation with fans at a recent concert in Washington, D.C. -- she reportedly made the audience wait for more than three hours because her manicure wasn't dry.
The reclusive former Fugees front woman made her return to the music scene earlier this year, and has been praised for a string of successful gigs, including a festival in Rwanda in July.
But the star lived up to her diva reputation after stalling her show in Washington, D.C. last week because her nail varnish was still wet.
According to the Washington Post, the "Doo Wop (That Thing)" hit maker then rushed through a 20-minute set and left the stage to a chorus of boos.
A representative for Hill says, "She's sorry she kept her fans waiting, but couldn't go out there looking busted (unattractive)!"

Adam Brody regrets Kristen Stewart comments

Adam Brody regrets suggesting Kristen Stewart should give up acting because he "sounded like an idiot" and isn't surprised he was slated for the remarks.
The former "The O.C." star riled "Twilight" fans when he insisted the actress should quit her movie career if fame gets too much for her.
Referring to the actress in an interview with Diablo Cody, he said, "It's only gotten worse, I'm sure, being a celebrity. At the same time, I don't have a lot of patience for people who moan about it too much. Because there are many things you could do. ... It's like, quit ... you don't need to be an actor, so it's like, if it's that much of a problem ... there's the door."
The comments sparked an online hate campaign from loyal followers of the vampire franchise -- and now even Brody admits his words were too harsh.
He tells MTV News, "It wasn't taken out of context. I saw (the interview) and thought I sounded like an idiot. I did. Regardless of how anyone else took anything, I would think that sounds very ungentlemanly and I sounded like a jacka**."

Karen Elson's no fan of Jack White's animal obsession

Jack White's passion for stuffed animals lands him in hot water with his model wife Karen Elson -- she has begged him to stop bringing the macabre souvenirs home from concerts.
The White Stripes rocker is a big fan of taxidermy and has a wide collection of lifelike dead creatures at the couple's home in Nashville, Tenn.
But his obsession is getting out of hand, and Elson dreads White heading out on tour as he always returns with a stuffed exotic animal.
She tells Harper's Bazaar, "He loves a good stuffed animal, my husband, to the point where ... (I say) 'Please don't come off tour with another creature.' I mean, some of the stuff is beautiful but ... they're his, not mine."

Beckhams' steamy new perfume advert

David and Victoria Beckham have shocked fans by enjoying a passionate clinch in a steamy advert for their latest perfume range.
The stars can be seen in the new promo for his-and-hers fragrance, Intimately Beckham Yours, getting into a lift together and moving in for a kiss.
When the lift doors open again the Beckhams appear ruffled and smirking as they step outside, while the soccer star wipes some red lipstick off his face.
The scent, which is the fifth in the couple's range, aims to "capture the essence of David and Victoria Beckham's passion and the power of their relationship."
Last year the pair also appeared in a raunchy promotion for Giorgio Armani underwear as they stripped down for a series of photographs.

Blake Lively chooses roles over cash

"Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively snubs big money movie offers so she is not typecast as a "commercial" actress.
The 22-year-old shot to fame playing New York rich kid Serena van der Woodsen in the hit TV series, but will swap her glamorous character for a drug-addicted single mom in Ben Affleck's upcoming film "The Town."
And the star admits she has given up her dream of buying a piece of the Big Apple's pricey real estate so she can take on low-paid roles in edgy projects.
She tells Britain's Marie Claire, "I'm on a very commercial show so the last thing I want to do is a commercial movie. I wanna take risks, I don't wanna play it safe.
"It would be nice to buy an apartment but I'm 22 and I don't need to yet. I live in New York City. So. ... I'm able to differentiate between what I want and need, and what I want more is to do great roles."
