ORDER was restored in the universe today, as Forbes magazine reinstated Oprah Winfrey, Queen of All Media, as the world's most powerful celebrity.
Winfrey, whose earnings over the last year are estimated at $315 million US, tops the magazine's annual Celebrity 100 list -- which marks the fourth time she's claimed the title (last year it was taken by Angelina Jolie, who now rests at the lowly, but still better than you, No. 18 slot).
Filling out the top five are Beyoncé, James Cameron, Lady Gaga and Tiger Woods.
Lady Gaga was the highest-ranking newbie of the year, and also notably out-ranked venerable olds of the pop world including U2 (No. 7) and Madonna (No. 10).
According to Forbes, celebs make the list by doing more than making an obscene amount of cash. As per the mag, the Celebrity 100 "is a measure of entertainment-related earnings and media visibility" -- so the extent to which the world is gabbing about a given star via both established media and social media goes toward their score.
