A "Free Lindsay" rally calling for the release of actress Lindsay Lohan will be hosted on Seventh Avenue in New York City by James Oliver of the Beach Bum Tanning Salon on Wednesday.

Oliver is the individual “primarily responsible for keeping the Lohan family so well sunned,” according to a Hollywood.com blog post.

Beach Bum held a similar rally in 2007, when hotel heiress Paris Hilton was taken into custody after being convicted for drunk driving charges.

Lohan, 24, was sentenced to 90 days in jail on July 6 after Judge Marsha Revel determined that the Mean Girls actress had missed seven mandatory alcohol classes since December, violating her probation on a 2007 drug and drunk driving case, the Associated Press reported.
"Ms. Lohan and I are extremely disappointed in the sentence handed down by Judge Revel," read a statement released by Shawn Chapman Holley, Lohan’s attorney. "We believe that the penalty is far harsher than what others would have received under similar circumstances."
Lohan was taken into custody on July 20. Her original sentence has been shortened due to overcrowding in her Lynwood, Calif. women’s facility, and the actress will be released early next week, according to People.
Revel also sentenced Lohan to three months of mandatory rehab, which the actress will serve after her release.
